It's about time for life to begin again.

Fall is beautiful.

Past few days have been awesome. Lots of band. Lots of Madden.

Chamber Choir is going to London and Paris instead of Italy. I won't even fake like I'm disappointed, who freaking cares? Afterall, "the kick comes from people, buddy boy." Not only from where you go.

Waiting patiently for football season

Fantasy draft tonight at 10:30, I need to go read up on the NFL.

edit* don't even act like you dont like this song

There are three things that can take me, Daniel, into a complete state of euporhia. I'm talking about when you are so "high" that you forget who you are and what you past is: Truly living in the moment. And living for now and for today is the most beautiful thing of them all...

They are:

Astronomy - As complex and intellectual as the word inspires, I have found a place where I can put this world into perspective through mathematical means. We are so small relative to the universe, but it never seems that way because we perceive things only as our minds pereive them. And that is usually somewhat a "me first" attitude. So, can our way of thought allow us to deal with anything and everything? According to the red supergiant Antares in a nearby galaxy, it can!

Love - The overwhelming adoration for a person or persons. All science tells us that this "love" thing we have developed is 100% contrary to our basic survival instincts. Attaching yourself to one or a group is potentially fatal, especially if he/she/they are ever in trouble. But there is an undeniable desire in all of us to find our place in a group and a person we trust to the end of the world. I feel like I belong, and there is no better feeling than that.

Music - Music has the ability to evoke every human emotion. Why? Can you really break down how notes on a page and tones on a radio can make you cry? Music is such a mystery and most deluctable one at that. It glorifies individuality and, of course, love. There are some notes and chords and musical phrases that just hit home with me.

No day but today, baby.
